TAM Project Tracker

Tracks every procurement project from order to installation, with a full history of who moved it, the files behind each step, and evidence for every item, downloadable as a zip.

Infrastructure projects pass through many hands between a quote and a finished install: someone orders, someone receives, someone installs, and each step comes with paperwork. When that lives in email threads, nobody can say where a project stands, or find the delivery note when the client asks.

The tracker gives every project a code, a priority and an owner, and walks it through five stages. Every move is recorded as an event with a note, an actor and its attachments, and every line item collects its own evidence.

Five  stages

Created

The project is opened with a code, priority (low to urgent) and an assignee.

Ordered

Goods are ordered, with the purchase paperwork attached to the event.

Delivered

Receipt is recorded with its delivery documents.

Installed and finished

Installation evidence is in, and the project closes.

A  history  you  can  download

Each stage change is an event: who did it, an optional note, who it was handed on to, and any number of attachments stored under random filenames with their original names kept for display. Line items list quantity, unit and a service duration in months, and gather their own evidence files. When the client asks for proof, a single request streams every file for an event or an item into a zip with archiver, straight from disk.
