Hello from Indonesia

Measure twice, deploy once

I'm Daffa, a software engineer with an electrical background.

I build things for servers, screens and circuit boards.

I started out wiring circuits and ended up writing the code that drives them. Now I work across the whole stack, right down to the hardware that runs it.

Working with me is simple: you work directly with the engineer.

No hand-offs, no account managers. I take an idea from rough brief to real product, explain the trade-offs plainly and keep you in the loop all the way. You get to know me, and I get to know your users.

I care about clean architecture, honest estimates and shipping work I'm proud to sign. Small team, short feedback loops, no surprises.

Working  Principles

01

Craft Over Chaos

Good software is calm software. I favour clear structure, readable code and well-understood tools over whatever is trending this week. The goal is a product that is easy to change long after launch day, so the next feature costs you less than the last one did.

02

Full Stack, Literally

From the database schema to the screen to the signal on the wire. Knowing how every layer behaves means fewer surprises where they meet, and better decisions when a problem could be solved in more than one place.

03

Stay Curious

Every project teaches me something new. I read the docs, poke at the edge cases and question my first idea, because the best solution is rarely the obvious one. Curiosity is how a good build becomes a great one, every time.

04

Progress Over Polish

Ship small, learn fast, refine often. A working version in your hands beats a perfect plan on paper. You always know where things stand, and steady visible progress keeps the whole project on track and honest.

Experience

Where I have worked and the communities I have helped run, with what I used along the way.

  • Research project automating chili plant monitoring in a greenhouse.

    • Built a 3-axis CNC gantry with stepper motors, Raspberry Pi 4 and ESP32 to scan 27 chili trees across a 90 m² greenhouse with under 1% movement error.
    • Designed and trained a YOLOv11 computer vision model that classifies chili ripeness with over 90% detection accuracy against manual inspection.
    • Developed a full-stack Next.js and PostgreSQL dashboard for real-time monitoring and control, validated over 7 days of live field testing at over 90% system reliability.
    • YOLOv11
    • Raspberry Pi 4
    • ESP32
    • Next.js
    • PostgreSQL
    • Python
  • Maintenance Area II, Polypropylene production unit.

    • Analysed end-to-end process instrumentation for pressure, temperature, flow and level, including PLC/SCADA/HMI communication and 4–20 mA signal systems, and calibrated 4 transmitters with a HART communicator.
    • Evaluated Pressure Transmitter PT-2210 maintenance for reactor D-2201 and designed a Control Ticket system to standardise scheduling and documentation, improving tracking efficiency by 20%.
    • Recommended redundant pressure transmitters on the D-2201 interlock, reducing single-point-of-failure risk by 50% across 3 critical measurement points.

    • SCADA
    • HMI
    • 4–20 mA
    • HART
  • Internal software for the company's operations, plus the servers it runs on.

    • Built and maintained 10+ internal systems, including inventory management, project workflow tracking, field documentation, attendance and document management, cutting manual processing time by up to 30%.
    • Led the integration of 6+ standalone tools into a unified ERP platform.
    • Managed 4 bare-metal internal servers hosting company applications, holding 99% uptime with a self-built smart monitoring and maintenance system.
